HORTIFRES · CONSERVATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF TRADITIONAL CULTIVARS OF BEAN AND TOMATO TO PROMOTE THEIR USE AS FRESH VEGETABLES

This project raised by one hand, efforts to alleviate the need to conserve and regenerate the current genetic diversity that can be found in traditional vegetable varieties of the main production areas such as Andalusia and Galicia. On the other hand, efforts to increase the value of traditional crops and therefore meets the expectations of the consumer demand.
